Photo Vol. 148 (Back Country Camping Edition)
The theme of twenty-twenty-one seems to have taken a turn towards backpacking (or back country hiking, or tramping, depending where you’re from). From the forest on the slopes of Mount Maroon to remote bush camping in Girraween National Park where the granite boulders lie.
Forest camp on the slopes of Mount Maroon.
Well, that’s pretty.
Paradise.
Green.
Paddy’s Gully.
Mount Maroon.
Wow.
Mount Barney with its head in the clouds.
Good to hit the dirt.
Give me a home amongst the gum trees…
Emma likes trees.
Girraween is pretty cool.
A tree. A little tree.
The bush.
Where the boulders just… hang about and stuff.
Come on guys, chop chop.
This is how valleys start.
This is granite country.
Pyramid Rock over yonder.
A little dirt, some water and life happens.
The green is different here.
Ferns though.
Bush camp.
Pretty.
Bunch o’ dorks.
Trekking back over Mount Norman.
Sticks and stones…
Life is a river?
This is granite country, part two.
Yours truly.
Pretty, part two.
