Painting Horseshoe Falls in Tasmania in 30,000 Paint Strokes
In April 2020, I began to work on a painting of my long-exposure landscape photo of Horseshoe Falls in Tasmania. I put it down for almost a year before finally finishing the painting on September 3rd, 2021! In total, the painting took over 10 straight hours of work and 30,000 strokes in Procreate for iPad Pro using an Apple Pencil 2.
Here’s the painting process in action showing the entire 10+ hours of painting in a few minutes.
